Job Title: Engineering Manager

At Vantage Consulting, we are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Oversee all engineering activities, ensuring seamless integration across controls, electrical, and mechanical disciplines.
  • Process Development: Develop and implement best practice engineering processes and procedures to enhance business performance.
  • Strategic Direction: Provide strategic direction to the engineering department, aligning it with the overall business goals.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify business challenges and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Policy Development: Establish and maintain engineering policies, guidelines, and associated documentation.
  • Innovation: Drive innovation by developing creative engineering systems and solutions.
  • Technical Support: Offer technical support to sales, projects, and service departments.
  • System Design: Manage all aspects of system design from contract award through to commissioning.
  • Documentation: Lead the preparation, review, and issue of technical documentation.
  • Resource Planning: Plan and prioritize engineering resources to ensure optimal delivery to customer specifications.
  • Qualification and Storage: Ensure new equipment and activities are supported with appropriate qualification documentation and securely stored.
  • Drawings and Systems: Maintain up-to-date drawings through PDM and ERP systems.
  • Manufacturing Coordination: Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure products are manufacturable while maintaining quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Reporting: Regularly report engineering activities to the Senior Management team, ensuring accurate and timely updates on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations.
