Community Outreach Specialist

Venn Group is partnering with a Support Organisation to fill several Outreach Worker positions in Chester & Cheshire West.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will operate a street outreach service to support individuals experiencing homelessness in Cheshire West and Chester. They will work closely with partner agencies to remove barriers and provide access to welfare facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a street outreach service to engage with individuals in need
- Collaborate with partner agencies to develop and implement effective support strategies
- Provide access to welfare facilities and work with individuals to understand their circumstances
- Work with local authorities, policing units, and community safety wardens to ensure effective information sharing
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will be passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals and have a strong understanding of the issues surrounding homelessness.
