Outreach Support Worker Opportunity

Venn Group is partnering with a Support Organisation to fill Outreach Worker vacancies in Chester & Cheshire West.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will operate a street outreach service to support individuals experiencing homelessness, working closely with partner agencies to remove barriers and provide access to welfare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a street outreach service to individuals in need, providing support and guidance to help them access services and move away from homelessness.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies, including the police, mental health services, and local authorities, to develop and implement effective support strategies.
  • Work closely with the local community, including CCTV services, policing units, and community safety wardens, to ensure a coordinated approach to addressing homelessness.
  • Support individuals in accessing welfare facilities and developing personalized plans to address their specific needs.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of the issues surrounding homelessness and a passion for delivering effective support services.
