Systems Engineering Manager - Optics and Medical Devices

We are seeking a seasoned Systems Engineering Manager to lead the delivery of system requirements for our cutting-edge Medical Imaging Devices. As a key member of our team, you will oversee change management, validation and verification, systems engineering guidance, and adherence to our Quality Management System standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Strategic systems leadership to interdisciplinary engineering teams
  2. Day-to-day operations of direct reports, including work planning and performance management
  3. Systems engineering activities in compliance with industry standards
  4. Collaboration with Quality department on regulatory documentation and supporting technical reports, requirements, and test specifications
  5. Product security initiatives and advising on standards compliance with INCOSE and other relevant standards
  6. Requirements for product lifecycle management software tools knowledge across departments and leading project tasks
  7. Future product development aligned with company objectives in prototype development and transitioning to production

Requirements include:

  1. In writing clear, testable requirements
  2. Systems knowledge (hardware, optical or medical devices) to enhance engineering processes
  3. Experience in requirements and test management tools of integrated hardware and software systems
  4. Experience in verification and validation testing
  5. Track record in meeting project deadlines
  6. Management experience in hardware and software development
