Job Title: Electrical Shift

Our client is a leading food manufacturer seeking a skilled Electrical Shift Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the factory's electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including automation, control panels, and PLCs.
  • Carry out planned maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and downtime.
  • Investigate and resolve electrical faults, working with the maintenance team to identify and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure minimal disruption to production schedules.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualified in engineering as a minimum requirement.
  • Experience in electrical maintenance and fault finding in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
