Job Description

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment within our commercial site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Assistant Technical Services Manager in delivering a high-quality maintenance service.
  • Operate, repair, and maintain building fabric and engineering services within a multi-disciplinary hard service team environment.
  • Ensure electrical systems, equipment, and plant are maintained to a high standard and operate effectively.
  • Lead in engineering activities and undertake duties for which you are trained and competent to do so.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide a full range of services at all times.
Person Specification:
  • Previous experience in a maintenance environment.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare maintenance environment.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of complex mechanical systems, including ventilation, pumps, compressors, boilers, medical gases, heating systems, domestic hot and cold-water systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Recognised apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline to City & Guilds level.
  • Previous Competent Person/Authorised Person experience, including High Voltage and Low Voltage electrical systems.
  • GCSE/O Level Mathematics and English or equivalent.
  • City and Guild Inspection and Testing.
  • Prepared to work a flexible shift system, including nights.
  • Prepared to travel to other sites within the Company.
  • Possess a current valid driving licence.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Salary £32,000 - £36,000 Plus £2,000 per annum shift allowance (Maximum Salary £38,000)
