Salary: £48,000 - £58,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about education and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our students. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing pastoral care, managing attendance and punctuality, and monitoring and evaluating the performance of our students.

You will also have a significant impact on the learning environment, ensuring that it is conducive to academic excellence and student well-being. This includes addressing underachievement, maintaining high-quality reports, and contributing to whole-school assemblies and events.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Pastoral care: Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, providing guidance and support to ensure their emotional and academic well-being">
  • Attendance and punctuality: Manage attendance records, identifying trends and developing strategies to improve student engagement and participation">
  • Monitoring and evaluation: Regularly assess student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted plans to enhance their academic achievement">
  • Behaviour for learning: Promote a culture of respect and inclusivity, encouraging students to take responsibility for their actions and Behaviour">
  • The learning environment: Ensure that classrooms and common areas are clean, safe, and organised, promoting a sense of community and collaboration among students and staff">
  • Performance Management: Work closely with teachers and support staff to set targets and monitor progress, driving improvement and excellence across the academy">
  • Addressing underachievement: Identify and support students who require additional help, developing tailored plans to accelerate their progress and close attainment gaps">
  • Quality of reports: Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, providing insightful analysis and recommendations for future development">
  • Contribution to whole school assemblies and Focus Days: Engage with students, staff, and parents to promote a sense of unity and shared purpose, celebrating our achievements and successes">
