About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Event Projects Lead to join our team at Sja's West. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing individual programmes and youth support workers, creating a safe, inclusive, and open environment for young people to learn important life skills.

The NHS Cadets Project aims to attract and develop young people, preparing them for health volunteering opportunities. Through a 36-week programme, we will help young people gain new skills and knowledge, as well as hands-on experience in the NHS.

We are committed to widening access for 14 to 18-year-olds from groups that have not traditionally entered health volunteering, such as marginalised young people, those in care, not in education, employment, or training, or from ethnic minority backgrounds.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have experience working in a similar position and a passion for working with young people. You will have experience managing youth leaders and delivering provisions aimed at increasing opportunities for young people from marginalised communities.
