Job Title: Specialist Teacher for SEMH Needs

Location: Chichester, West Sussex

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join our team in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Chichester. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who require Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To teach National Curriculum subjects to children with SEMH needs
  • To develop and implement individualised education plans to support pupil progress
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • To contribute to the development of whole-school policies and practices

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience of working with children with SEMH needs
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
