About the Role

We are seeking a Special Education Teaching Assistant to join our team at Pink Tile Education Ltd. The successful candidate will provide specialist support to students who have special educational needs, working closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver high-quality education.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about teaching and learning, and who wants to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Modifying lesson plans to suit various abilities and learning styles.
  • Managing behaviour effectively using visual aids and consistent routines.
  • Working on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, and across the classroom.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children who have special educational needs, as well as experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), and speech and language delays.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, inclusive of the 12.07% PAYE holiday allowance.
