Job Description

Our Agile Delivery Managers are leaders who are responsible for guiding our agile squads to deliver value to clients through facilitating Agile ceremonies and practices as well as coaching Agile principles and values.

They lead their squads to deliver high-quality solutions for our clients by creating and managing delivery plans, identifying and removing impediments, as well as driving continuous improvements through strong relationships with Engineers and key stakeholders.

About You:

Successful candidates will have proven experience working in an Agile Delivery Management or Scrum Master role and are passionate about empowering squads and fostering a collaborative and agile culture.

  • Strong knowledge and experience of working in and applying Scrum & Kanban Agile principles.
  • Strong experience of using agile planning and delivery tools for creating, managing and tracking deliverables as well as the ability to interpret data and take action to course correct where necessary.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring experience.
  • Commercial awareness and sound understanding of project and business dynamics.
  • A team player willing to adapt, support and drive improvements to all parts of the agile delivery process.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all ceremonies and agile events are carried out effectively.
  • Coach squads to self-organise and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Lead the squads to effectively plan, refine, estimate and deliver functionality to clients whilst also driving continuous improvement and hygiene factors.
  • Raise and assist in resolving Risks & Issues.
  • Collaborate with our Support Team to understand client issues and feedback, support resolution of issues and ensure lessons learnt are fed into ways of working.
  • Drive continuous improvements and agile transformation across the whole of the Delivery function and thinking beyond their own squad(s).
  • A passion and vision to create a journey to greater agile ways of working for squads and the wider organisation.
  • Being supported to continually research, learn and refine specialist knowledge.
