About The Role

As a Senior Technical Designer at The Multiplayer Group (MPG), you will be responsible for designing and implementing game designs, iterating them into high-quality playables for our partner's games. You will work closely with our design and engineering teams to develop, iterate, and maintain new features and tools before they are deployed to the rest of the team.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical design skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines. If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about game design, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement game designs, iterating them into high-quality playables for our partner's games
  • Work closely with our design and engineering teams to develop, iterate, and maintain new features and tools
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure the successful delivery of our projects
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support our projects
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

  • Previous experience working on 1+ AAA title in a technical design or scripting capacity
  • Excellent verbal, written, and diagrammatic communication skills and experience with wiki-based design documentation
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines
  • Ability to understand and communicate in technical language
  • Curiosity and drive to understand how things work
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability, autonomy, proactivity
  • Structure, attention to detail, efficiency
  • Ability to clearly express ideas (spoken and written)
  • Experience of prototyping gameplay mechanics using UE4/UE5 Blueprints
  • Experience with a scripting or programming language

Salary & Benefits
