About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join JaK Consultancy as a Furniture Consultant, working in a fast-paced sales environment within the commercial interiors sector.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with experience in the furniture industry, who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.

The successful candidate will contribute to the entire project process, from bid preparation and pricing to customer service and product specification, while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Procurement:

  • Generate project quotations and assist with product specification
  • Source and research solutions for specific project needs, communicating with manufacturers about product specifications and pricing
  • Support the sales team with information, prices, and mock-up details for new clients
  • Collect fabric samples for projects and ensure order accuracy in coordination with the administrative team
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to stay updated on the latest trends
  • Research new manufacturers for product specifications and support the sales team by attending client meetings
  • Participate in internal and external training on sustainability and product circularity

Project Management:

  • Manage project meetings and documentation independently, tracking budgets and timelines
  • Coordinate deliveries with dealers or end-users, conduct site surveys, and manage installation teams and oversee their work on-site
  • Address customer issues, including snagging and shortages, and develop strong technical knowledge of client products
Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Prior experience in the furniture industry is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to learn on the job and work both independently and in a team
  • Effective time management and initiative
  • Calm demeanor in high-pressure situations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CAD drawings
