About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lived Experience Support Worker to join our team at South East London Mind. As a key member of our Multi-Disciplinary Team, you will work closely with clients to provide tailored support and empower them to develop resilience and coping skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and provide recovery-orientated support to a diverse caseload of clients with mental health diagnoses
  • Offer clients holistic support with empathy and understanding to empower them to develop resilience and a strengthened ability to cope with ongoing challenges
  • Engage clients in peer support sessions and provide appropriate advice, information, and signposting to help them navigate local community resources
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have lived experience of mental health challenges and experience supporting vulnerable people within a clinical environment. You will also be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check.
