We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lived Experience Support Worker to join our team at South East London Mind. As a key member of our Multi-Disciplinary Team, you will play a vital role in providing recovery-orientated support to clients with mental health diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and provide tailored support to a diverse caseload of clients, working collaboratively with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to empower them to develop resilience and a strengthened ability to cope with ongoing challenges.
- Engage clients in peer support sessions, offering holistic advice, information, and signposting to help them navigate the support available in their local communities.
- Support clients to develop and maintain independence in their local community, promoting resilience, building life skills, and a strengthened ability to cope with challenges and play a more active role in the management and sustainability of their wellbeing.
We are looking for an individual with lived experience of mental health challenges, as well as experience supporting vulnerable people within a clinical environment and/or managing a vulnerable client cohort caseload. Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check.
