We are seeking an experienced and skilled Adult Safeguarding Practitioner to join our Safeguarding Team at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic practitioner to work alongside our experienced Safeguarding Team to ensure that the safeguarding agenda is fundamentally embedded throughout the organisation.
Main Responsibilities- Support the safeguarding agenda through the Trust, utilising a governance framework to ensure that safeguarding is embedded as a fundamental principle and is seen as core business.
- Provide expert advice, support and guidance to staff, promoting a high level of judgment, discretion and decision making in relation to all safeguarding matters.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care and interventions using advanced adult safeguarding knowledge, together with the legal frameworks and relevant legislation.
- Work collaboratively with external partners and local authority Safeguarding Teams, ensuring effective communication and interagency working.
- Support and promote all underpinning safeguarding principles, ensuring that the voice of the adult is sought and heard.

Requirements- Full NMC Registration
- Relevant degree or demonstrate equivalent experience and knowledge
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in the safeguarding sphere
- Teaching qualification or demonstrate equivalent experience in delivering training to adult learners
- Clinical supervision or mentorship training
