Job Title: Mechanical/Structures Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and suitably qualified Mechanical Structures Engineer to support the MQ-4C Triton Airframe and associated Mechanical/Structural systems.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Northrop Grumman Corp. (AU) and contribute to the success of our Defence business. As a Mechanical Structures Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing and reviewing technical information to ensure the continued airworthiness of the platform and maintain compliance accordingly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and review technical information to ensure the continued airworthiness of the platform
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to reporting requirements for Logistics/Engineering Meetings, Configuration Control Boards and Airworthiness Board forums
  • Partner with the Commonwealth, US Navy and Northrop Grumman Corporation key stakeholders to assist our support strategy and execution
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience working within the DASA regulatory environment
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to drive best-practice outcomes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
