Job DescriptionThe post-holder will be expected to contribute to the bespoke full shift rota which is roughly a 1 in 4. The rota is compliant with the terms and conditions of the 2016 Junior Doctor Contract and WTD.
Main Responsibilities- Day-to-day participation in clinical activities with direct resident tier who will support both day and night.
- Acute Neonatal Unit cover and attendance at deliveries providing NLS if required.
- General ward duties, including patient reviews and day-to-day assistance with management of the neonatal unit, delivery suite and postnatal ward.
- Assessing and managing critically ill or injured babies.
The post holder will be one of the four doctors contributing to the full shift rota with a weekend frequency of roughly 1 in 4 with 21-night shifts across a 27-week reference period and is prospectively covered for annual and study leave.

Person Specification- MBBS, MB ChB or equivalent medical qualification.
