Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our faculty as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in occupational science and a defined research program that complements existing expertise in the department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate coursework in occupational therapy, conducting and disseminating research, and engaging in service activities within the department, university, and occupational therapy profession.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching: Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate coursework in occupational therapy, including student advising.
  • Scholarship: Conduct and disseminate research in occupational science and therapy, with a focus on expanding existing expertise in the department.
  • Service: Participate in departmental, university, and professional service activities, including committee work and community engagement.
Qualifications
  • PhD or research doctorate in occupational therapy, occupational science, or a related field.
  • Defined program of scholarship supported by at least one refereed publication and others in process.
  • Past teaching experience and demonstration of teaching competence.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in adult mental health or geriatric care.
  • Eligibility for NBCOT certification and NH state OT license.
