About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our team as a Registered Manager at one of our children's homes. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of daily life within the home, enabling young people to thrive and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of colleagues and facilitate their professional development to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Design, implement, and monitor care and education plans to meet the individual needs of our children and young people.
  • Ensure compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations and maintain a high standard of care and quality.
  • Organize work patterns, facilitate training, and access appropriate services to support childcare practices within the home.
Requirements
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience of managing an Ofsted-rated home with a rating of Good or above.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with challenging behaviors, including mental health and behavioral problems.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Excellent knowledge of current legislations, including The Children's Homes England Regulations, Quality Standards, and the Children's Act.
