SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team in Exeter. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support due to their SEMH and Autism needs. Your role will involve providing individualized support, assisting with behavior management, and helping students build confidence and self-regulation skills.
Responsibilities and RequirementsThe responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing academic support to students with SEMH and Autism needs
- Assisting with behavior management and developing strategies to promote positive behavior
- Helping students build confidence and self-regulation skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of SEMH and Autism needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff
