About the Opportunity:

This role involves supporting the testing and evaluation of Li-ion battery cells, conducting performance and reliability tests to contribute to the development of next-generation battery technologies.

  • Carry out electrochemical tests, such as charge-discharge cycling, impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and other assessments to evaluate the performance and durability of Li-ion battery cells.
  • Configure, calibrate, and maintain testing equipment to guarantee optimal operation during experiments.
  • Record test results accurately, track performance, and collaborate with data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in battery cell performance.
  • Keep detailed records of testing procedures, outcomes, and observations. Assist in creating reports and presentations for the research team.
  • Evaluate safety protocols and maintain a clean and well-organised testing environment.
