Job Description

Austin Fraser is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Development Specialist to join their team in Bordon. As an expert in technical solutions, you will be responsible for providing and owning the overall design and technical solutions based on customer requirements from bid phase through the complete life cycle of the project.

  • You will provide internal technical coordination of the design through to an offer phase and hand over to the Installation team for delivery phase.
  • You will provide technical engineering support to Sales/Bid teams, assessing customer technical requirements, reviewing equipment specifications, and liaising with manufacturers and relevant subcontractors to ensure all technical details and requirements are included and correctly costed when bidding proposals.
  • You will provide technical engineering support to the project team, ensuring that all technical details and requirements are covered.
  • You will produce specifications and support the procurement of products and materials to support project delivery.
  • You will create engineering site drawings, schematics, and cable and wiring schedules for projects and sales teams.

This role requires good technical knowledge of the Airfield/Airport Ground Electronics and Aviation industry, solid CAD skills, and proven customer and stakeholder relationship management. The ideal candidate should also have experience in Telecommunications/IT/technologies and be eligible for security clearance.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This role will require regular travel to Bordon and international travel as required. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact Austin Fraser directly.
