DWP Digital is seeking talented individuals to join our DevOps Engineering Apprenticeship program. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining real-world applications that impact millions of people across the UK.

About the Apprenticeship

This is a Level 4 digital apprenticeship that will equip you with the skills and knowledge to become a future leader and expert in DevOps. You will work alongside our brilliant team, learning on the job and studying towards a Level 4 DevOps engineer apprenticeship qualification via Makers Academy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain real-world applications
  • Work collaboratively with the engineering community to deliver high-quality products and services
  • Develop problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Balance work and study, with a passion for learning new things
Requirements
  • Hold a current United Kingdom (UK) or EEA Passport, and NI number
  • Have lived in the UK and/or EEA for the past 3 years
  • Be eligible to work in the UK and not in full-time education (at the time the apprenticeship starts)
  • Either hold GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above, or complete and pass a functional skills test if you don't have these GCSEs
  • Not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject
