Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing specialist neurology care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of neurological conditions.
- Conducting research and contributing to the development of new treatments and therapies for neurological conditions.
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Developing and implementing clinical guidelines and protocols for the management of neurological conditions.
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff, including medical students and junior doctors.

Person Specification
- Full registration with the General Medical Council.
- Relevant specialty degree qualification.
- Completion of Specialty Training (CST or equivalent) or within 6 months of achieving it in relevant specialty.
- Experience of audit and quality improvement.
- Experience of teaching junior staff.
- Effective team worker, valuing the experience and contributing.
- Demonstrable team leadership skills and experience.
