About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Ambulance Vehicle Preparation Technician. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and readiness of our frontline ambulances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deep clean frontline ambulances in accordance with Ambulance Vehicle Preparation (AVP) requirements
  • Maintain effective housekeeping of garage and associated clinical areas
  • Restock consumables, check and inspect medical and lifting & handling equipment, and complete vehicle checks
  • Prepare consumables, manage stock control, re-fuel, and move vehicles across various locations
  • Record all daily activities and repatriate equipment from Hospital Trusts

Requirements
  • Driving license with full Category C1 entitlement, valid in the UK
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team
  • Ability to work unsocial hours on a 7 day/24 hour shift rota system
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous cleaning experience
  • Working knowledge of COSHH / Risk Assessments
  • Previous knowledge of Infection Control Procedures
