Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Ambulance Vehicle Preparation Technician. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of our frontline ambulances.

Main Responsibilities
  • Process ambulances in a prescribed and controlled manner to ensure they are fully equipped and prepared to attend to patients.
  • Conduct detailed cleaning and infection prevention and control activities to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Inspect and check medical and lifting equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Restock consumables and complete vehicle checks to ensure ambulances are ready for service.
  • Prepare consumables, manage stock, refuel, and move vehicles across various locations as required.
  • Record daily activities and repatriate equipment from hospital trusts.

Requirements
  • A driving license with full Category C1 entitlement.
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work unsocial hours on a 7-day/24-hour shift rota system.
