Job Title: Ambulance Vehicle Preparation Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Ambulance Vehicle Preparation Specialist to join our team at Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining our frontline operational vehicles to ensure they are fully equipped and ready to respond to emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Process ambulance service vehicles in a prescribed and controlled way to ensure each vehicle is fully equipped and prepared to attend and treat a patient.
* Perform detailed cleaning and infection prevention and control activities, checking and inspecting medical and lifting & handling equipment, restocking consumables, and completing vehicle checks.
* Prepare consumables, manage stock control, re-fuel vehicles, and move them across various locations, recording all daily activities and the repatriation of equipment from Hospital Trusts.
* Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth operation of vehicle preparation and maintenance activities.

Requirements:
* A full Category C1 driving license, valid in the UK.
* Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
* Ability to work unsocial hours on a 7 day/24 hour shift rota system.
* Good literacy and numerical skills to pass required examinations and tests.
* Basic IT skills, including email, internet, and office software, as well as handheld data devices (tablets, telephones).
