Plant Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading PLC listed manufacturing business in Nostell, Wakefield. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of plant-wide maintenance services.

Salary & Benefits

We are offering a highly competitive salary of £51,097 per annum, with overtime paid at 1.5x and 2x, plus a 5% KPI Bonus. You will also receive excellent benefits and career development opportunities within the company.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Providing plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support and repairs to maintain production targets.
  • Monitoring and supplying engineering support for machine set-up and changeovers to ensure quality assurance standards.
  • Ensuring PPMs and commissioning stages are followed.
Requirements:
  • A recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (e.g., NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above) in Mechanical or Electrical.
  • High degree of health and safety awareness.
  • Ability to fault find, repair, and provide solutions to problems.
