Opus People Solutions: Safeguarding and Behaviour Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our team at Opus People Solutions. As a leading provider of care and education, we are committed to delivering exceptional services that prioritize the safety and wellbeing of our residents and students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safeguarding and behaviour practices that align with CQC, Ofsted, and statutory guidelines.
  • Oversee the daily execution of safeguarding, behaviour, pastoral, and wellbeing policies, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Provide data-driven insights to the Senior Leadership Team and Governors, informing strategic decisions.
  • Design and deliver safeguarding and behaviour training for staff through Continuing Professional Development (CPD) initiatives.
  • Collaborate with parents/carers, staff, and external agencies to develop effective intervention strategies.
  • Support the development of behaviour, pastoral care, and wellbeing policies, working closely with Service Leads.

Requirements:
  • DSL Training Level 3 or above
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English
