About the Role

- This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious up-and-coming Financial Controller to enhance and diversify their skillset.">
- You will be responsible for analysing figures, margins, and trends.">
- Enhance and create financial reports, managing and reporting on cash flows.">
- Challenging the management team where appropriate to make improvements to business performance.">
- Manage the internal and external audit process and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.">
- Key responsibilities include providing business partnering support to the business and internal stakeholders.">
- Full responsibility for the talented finance team.">
- Systems, reporting, and analysis ownership.">
- Preparing and presenting reports to the Senior Management Team.">
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations including reconciliation of income and costs paid in advance.">
- Ensure monthly timetables are adhered to and all reconciliations are recorded accurately.">
- Production of Monthly Management Accounts including reporting pack and variance analysis.">
- Management of cash flow and FX requirements.">
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.">
- Work closely with the Finance Director on forecasting and budgeting.">
- Develop and maintain financial processes and controls.">
- Support with IFRS reporting particularly IFRS 16 analysis.">
Required Skills and Qualifications
">- ">
- Experience in people management and strong Excel skills.">
- Qualified accountants (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or those with strong comparable experience (QBE).">
- Strong previous experience in management accounting and business partnering.">
- Experience with Salesforce or Sage Intact is advantageous but not essential.">
- Experience in IFRS reporting particularly IFRS 16 is desirable.">
