Electrical Systems Engineer

At Carbon60 - Eng&Tech Careers, we're seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team in Rugby. This is a permanent role that offers the opportunity to work on shop floor engineering projects, supporting our client's continued growth.
The ideal candidate will have skills in electrical and mechanical installation, wiring, and quality engineering precision. The salary for this position is approximately £28,000 per annum.
We're looking for someone who can read and interpret electrical wiring and circuit diagrams, as well as assembly drawings. The successful candidate will be able to correctly use and maintain tools of the trade, including power tools, test equipment, and measuring instruments.
The working hours are 8:30am-5:30pm (45-minute lunch break) from Monday to Thursday, and 8am-1:30pm on Friday. Role responsibilities include wiring in accordance with regulations and electrical & mechanical engineering drawings/work to samples, install, test, commission, maintain and build electrical systems and components.
- As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will carry out electrical assembly tasks, such as locating and repairing faults in electrical power supply equipment, using appropriate methods and techniques.
- You will also perform mechanical assembly tasks, including building mechanical laser components and coolers using given information.
