Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Vendor Manager to support the Head of Vendor Management in leading our technology supplier contracts, performance, and relationships. This role encompasses four key areas: commercial management, sourcing, financial management, and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM). These areas oversee both CAPEX and OPEX expenditure related to hardware, software, and associated services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for commercial agreements and onboarding goods and services with relevant suppliers. They will work closely with technology teams to deliver projects and new technologies. This includes being principal for Vendor Operations as well as commercial activities relating to technology spend and management of the contract portfolio for technology.

This role is eligible for inclusion in our hybrid working from home policy. Key skills include understanding of procurement and commercial principles, leading commercial negotiation, effective management of suppliers, strong planning and delivery skills, reviewing contracts, and monitoring vendor performance. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience working collaboratively to establish new processes, implementing new systems, and developing existing tools.
