About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Solent NHS Trust, working within the Portsmouth Integrated Learning Disability Service. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality psychological care to individuals across the city.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside senior management and clinical staff to deliver psychological care to people with learning disabilities.
  • Develop and implement psychological interventions to support individuals and their families.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless care pathways and effective coordination.
  • Provide clinical supervision and leadership to junior staff members.
  • Contribute to the development of the psychology service, including service improvement initiatives and research projects.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities, including those with complex needs.
  • Strong clinical skills, including assessment, formulation, and intervention.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
