About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Delkia, a leading engineering and technology company specializing in safety-related and mission-critical systems. As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering key projects comprising product, process, and system development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, plan, track, and manage projects to ensure timely delivery, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Lead project resources to achieve project objectives, and escalate exceptions through governance processes as necessary.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including project teams, internal and external stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Monitor project spending, track progress, and report variances using Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
  • Establish and maintain weekly reporting, including setting up regular internal and external team meetings.
  • Prepare meeting packs, presentations, and capture minutes, agreed actions, and update teams and senior management.
  • Influence key stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation templates.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are completed in line with the schedule.
  • Identify potential dependencies, assumptions, risks, exceptions, opportunities, project problems, mitigation contingencies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in Lessons Identified process across all projects and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain established processes and develop new ones as required.
  • Take ownership and pride in your work and promote project management success through the team.
  • Manage proposed changes to project parameters, including scope, budget, and schedules.
  • Monitor the quality of project deliverables and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Conduct project meetings and attend program and portfolio meetings as required.
  • Establish effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Degree (or working towards) in Project Management (desirable)
  • APM Project Management Qualification (desirable)
  • Knowledge of NEC3 contracts (desirable)
  • Proven experience of delivering projects to time, cost, and quality
  • Successful experience of translating analysis into practical implementation
  • Proficient with the full Microsoft Office suite
  • Schedule baseline creation and management
  • Detail-oriented, high standard of accuracy, and quality
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong team player
  • A drive to succeed
