Data Cleansing Specialist - Associate Consultant

Lane Clark & Peacock LLP is a leading independent, owner-managed pensions, investment, and insurance consultancy in the UK and Ireland.

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Cleansing Specialist to join our Pensions Administration department in Winchester. As a Data Cleansing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and cleansing Pension Scheme data to ensure its accuracy and integrity.

The project work you will be doing will include assisting schemes as they prepare for buy-out/buy-in, assisting with GMP data preparedness, and the future Pensions Dashboard. Other work will include helping schemes meet their regulatory data requirements and supporting the wider data team on internal projects.

What qualities, skills, and experience are we looking for?

  • Ideally, PMI qualified or willing to study towards relevant qualifications
  • Knowledge of DB pension schemes, along with working knowledge of other occupational pension schemes
  • Proven pensions project work - i.e., scheme events, data migration, re-calculation, analysis
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Project
  • Experience carrying out complex manual pension calculations
  • Client-facing project management experience (Prince2 preferred but not essential)
  • Good understanding of various codes of professional ethics and standards as promulgated by the PMI
  • Experience in producing and implementing project plans
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail skills
  • A team player with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Able to take ownership and accountability for assigned tasks
  • Able to prioritise workloads with conflicting importance, keeping to deadlines, agreed service levels, and disclosure requirements
