Mace is seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Compliance Specialist to support the operations of the legal team through legal tasks, owning and enhancing process GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

The successful candidate will provide data protection regulatory advice and support to Mace globally, responding to a range of GDPR queries and supporting the review of UK data protection provisions in contracts, DPAs, and other documents. They will also co-manage GDPR requests from data subjects, such as DSARs, access requests, and data subject rights, and support the GDPR team with incident and breach management, investigation, and notifications.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, excellent verbal and written skills, contract review experience, including DPA's, and a work towards a GDPR qualification. They will also have experience of reviewing and amending Data Protection clauses and Contracts (DPA's) in the UK and EU, good professional written competencies, attention to detail and accuracy in data input, and managing competing deadlines and priorities.

The role will involve supporting the delivery of training, legal, and GDPR research on data protection matters, initially in the UK and then for specified jurisdictions, and providing assistance with the communication/roll-out of the ROPA under instruction. The successful candidate will also support with the regulatory registrations and certifications process globally, including first point of liaison with the regulatory authority for these requests.
