About Fawkes & Reece London

We are a leading construction contractor seeking a Sustainability Director to join our team. As a Sustainability Director, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in delivering sustainable and innovative construction projects.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of client project sustainability strategies, ensuring compliance with statutory and best practice requirements.
  • Work with project teams to drive innovation and embed sustainability processes into bidding, design, procurement, and delivery.
  • Capacity build within project teams, translating technical requirements into layperson language to ensure all stakeholders understand their roles.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with sustainability systems, governance gateways, and assurance requirements.
  • Understand and support the delivery of net zero carbon strategies and the company's sustainability targets.

About You

  • You will have a passion for delivering ambitious sustainability results and be excited by the prospect of working with pioneering clients and delivery teams.
  • You will be technically robust, with expertise in a range of sustainability topics, and comfortable analyzing data and adapting to learn new technical requirements.
  • You will be a problem solver, able to view things from different perspectives and simplify complex concepts to solve or communicate problems.
  • You will drive change through your ability to lead others and adopt innovative solutions, acting decisively with a passion to achieve results.
  • You will be a confident communicator, presenting to colleagues and clients, and establishing positive relationships with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
