Timely Recruit Limited is seeking a seasoned Lead Sustainability Consultant to join their innovative team.
In this role, you will engage with a variety of industry sectors, particularly emphasizing private equity clients.Your responsibilities will include advising clients on compliance with sustainability regulations, establishing control frameworks, and enhancing data processes while collaborating with auditors.
Client Engagement:
Oversee client interactions and project execution, concentrating on Double Materiality Assessments, compliance gap analysis, and strategic action planning.
Team Leadership:
Attract, mentor, and guide consultants, promoting excellence in regulatory adherence and project execution.
Conduct risk assessments and
Business Development:
Perform ESG risk evaluations, support commercial strategies through client interactions, and engage in industry events.
Facilitate educational sessions for boards and internal teams regarding ESG trends and regulations, while maintaining a comprehensive knowledge database on technical positions and regulatory updates.
Tools:
Remain informed about software tools and digital solutions that aid in compliance with sustainability regulations, including XBRL tagging requirements.
Experience: 5+ years in sustainability consultancy or ESG reporting, with a focus on CSRD/NFRD. Relevant ESG experience in audit or private equity is also considered.
Skills:
Strong project management capabilities, adept at handling multiple complex projects.
Proficient in ESG data management and advanced Excel skills.
Project Management:
Demonstrated ability to create tailored consulting solutions and lead teams to meet project deadlines and budgetary constraints.
An advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Economics, Business Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainable Finance, or related fields is preferred. Professional certifications in ESG or Climate Risk management are advantageous.
