Job Overview

A Clinical Neurophysiology Consultant position is available at the John Radcliffe Hospital, part of Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The appointment is full-time, but job sharing is welcome. We recommend visiting the department and hospital to get a feel for the role.

Candidates are encouraged to contact Dr Adam Molyneux or Dr Mkael Symmonds, Clinical Leads for Clinical Neurophysiology, to discuss the opportunity.

Flexible working arrangements can be discussed, and suitable job-share candidates will be considered.

Main Duties

The postholder will contribute to the EEG video-telemetry service and reporting of sleep studies, including epilepsy pre-surgical assessment. They will work closely with multidisciplinary teams dealing with epilepsy and sleep disorders.

The postholder will be responsible for performing or supervising reporting of standard EEG and video-telemetry, supporting clinical meetings and case discussions, and conducting EMG or other specialty clinics.

They will also supervise and guide registrar and physiologists within the Neurophysiology department.
