About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Department team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the efficient running of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and effective patient-centered care to our service users, their families, and carers.
  • Ensure the clinical care requirements of patients are communicated effectively.
  • Supervise, develop, and mentor newly qualified staff, non-qualified staff, students, volunteers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in clinics, acting as a chaperone when required.
  • Ensure patient records are kept up to date, accurate, and in line with our Trust's Record Keeping Policy.
  • Undertake Link Worker training and act as a Link worker for a specific role, supporting the HCAs' training.
  • Conduct clinical audits to identify and improve patient safety and care.
  • Conduct patient satisfaction surveys.
Person Specification
  • NMC registration.
  • Previous experience in Outpatients.
  • Experience of managing a team.
