We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Department as a Band 5 General Nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the efficient running of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe and effective patient-centered care, ensuring the clinical needs of patients are met.
- Supervise and develop the skills of junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Participate in clinics, acting as a chaperone when required, and ensure patients' records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Undertake clinical audits to identify areas for improvement and contribute to the development of best practice.
- Support the Senior Sister/Sister in the appraisal of Newly Qualified Staff and Non-Qualified Staff.
- Develop knowledge and expertise on People Management policies to support staff development.
- Review and appraise processes and policies to ensure continuous improvement and delivery of best practice.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Current NMC registration
- Previous experience in Outpatients
- Experience of managing a team
Desirable skills include flexibility with hours and ability to travel across sites.
