Are you passionate about creating positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people? Do you have a caring and resilient nature, with at least 6 months experience of working with children or within a similar Social Care setting?

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team in Swindon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting children and young people in all day-to-day activities and interests, promoting their independence and wellbeing, and protecting them from any risks to their health and welfare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children and young people in all day-to-day activities and interests
  • Promote the young person's independence and wellbeing
  • Protect the children and young people from any risks to their health and welfare
  • Provide emotional and practical support to the young people within your home
  • Ensure the safety of young people by maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines

Requirements:

  • A desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
  • Empathetic, caring and resilient nature
  • At least 6 months experience of working with children or within a similar Social Care setting
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
