Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Town Planner to join our team at Penguin Recruitment. As a Senior Town Planner, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex planning projects, managing a team of planners, and contributing to the strategic direction of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex planning projects, including the preparation and submission of major planning applications and appeals.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of planning reports and documents.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert advice on planning matters.
  • Contribute to business development and identify growth opportunities.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional development.

Requirements

  • A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
  • Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or working towards it.
  • Relevant experience in a planning role, with increasing responsibility for senior roles.
  • Strong knowledge of planning legislation and policy.
