Accounts Assistant Opportunity

The Work Shop is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join their team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the company.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Raising and Processing Invoices: You will be responsible for raising, distributing, and factoring sales invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Purchase Ledger Management: You will approve and input purchase ledger invoices, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Credit Control and Reconciliations: You will assist in credit control when required and perform daily and monthly reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  • General Administration: You will provide general administrative support to the finance team, including tasks such as data entry and document management.
  • Payroll and Reporting: You will assist with payroll processing using Sage and prepare reports for BRCGS legislation as required.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: You will have experience with Microsoft Office applications and be proficient in using them to perform tasks such as data entry and document management.
  • Attention to Detail: You will have a keen eye for detail and be able to accurately complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Organizational Skills: You will be able to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines.

Working Hours: 22.5 hours per week
