About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Team Leader to join our team in Preston.

Job Description:

  • Lead all field service and maintenance requirements for a fabrication and welding manufacturing company based in Preston.
  • Manage the field service team who support the manufacturing function, ensuring effective collaboration with the production department.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily office operations and ensure a productive work environment for the back office administration team.
  2. Implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency, leveraging experience within a manufacturing / engineering environment.
  3. Provide support to the National Technical Manager in the overall management of the Service Department, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Service Manager / Office Manager or in a similar manufacturing / engineering role, with strong supervisory skills.
  2. Ability to maintain professionalism in all interactions within the office environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Experience within a manufacturing / engineering environment - as a service manager, with a deep understanding of the industry.

What's on Offer:

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus car allowance, bonus and benefits, making this an attractive opportunity for experienced professionals looking to advance their careers.
