Job Overview

MMP Consultancy is recruiting a highly skilled Contracts Officer to join their team in Kent. This permanent role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day running of contracts, encompassing planning, performance management, and delivery to contract specifications. The role involves assisting senior contract managers, identifying risks, and escalating them promptly. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating contract planning, performance monitoring, and delivery
  • Providing regular updates and support to senior contract managers on contract outcomes
  • Auditing contract-related information, collating data, and reporting on KPIs
  • Assisting in the provision of financial monitoring support and analysis to senior contract managers
  • Monitoring CRM task management, contract meeting actions, and other administrative tasks

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management or contract experience, with detailed knowledge of JCT and partnering contracts. Excellent communication and influencing skills are essential for effective collaboration with contractors, colleagues, and stakeholders. Proven negotiation and problem-solving skills, along with sound judgment and prioritization abilities, are also required.
