We are looking for a highly skilled Child Disability Support Worker to join our team in Buckinghamshire. As a Child Disability Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to parents and carers of disabled children, helping them to navigate the complex systems and services available.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week. You will be required to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our service users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and guidance to parents and carers of disabled children, helping them to access relevant services and resources.
  • Carry out assessments and risk evaluations to identify the needs of disabled children and their families.
  • Develop and implement support plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users.

You will work closely with other professionals, including social workers, healthcare professionals, and educators, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting our service users.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Post-qualifying experience working with disabled children and their families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
