Forseven is revolutionizing the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices. We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our highly skilled and dynamic Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Interior Electronics / Switch Controls for various product lines within the business.
  • Own technical ownership of various Interior Electronics / Switch Controls through Engineering, development, integration, and validation of electrical modules into the overall vehicle electrical architecture.
  • Ensure commodity attributes such as Quality, Costs, Timing, Homologation, Weight are within business targets.
  • Own Engineering Sign-off of electrical components through the development process.
  • Work closely with other departments such as Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Programs, Logistics, Service, and workshops.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in automotive Interior Electronics / Switch Packs development.
  • Good understanding of Automotive New Product Development Process, Milestones, and deliverables for each phase.
  • Demonstrable experience of electrical component development and manufacture for multiple projects.
  • Working knowledge of CAN, FlexRay, automotive ethernet, LIN networks, and vehicle diagnostics.
  • Working knowledge of relevant homologation standards, ISO26262, and EuroNCAP.
  • Understanding of Functional Safety and Cyber Security requirements for a global market vehicle.
  • Notable experience in using various engineering development tools and collaborative platforms.
  • Honor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics or similar areas with relevant experience.
  • Additional professional qualifications and Project Management – desired.
  • Possession of a full driving license is essential.
