Senior Facilities Manager

We are seeking a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in facilities management to lead our Build to Rent portfolio. As the Head of Facilities Management, you will have operational oversight of a portfolio of properties, leading a team of three regional facilities managers to ensure optimal functioning, asset value enhancement, and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement strategies to maintain and enhance the value of the property portfolio
- Oversee operations to ensure high standards of quality, safety, and resident satisfaction
- Drive compliance with health and safety regulations to ensure best-in-class buildings
- Lead the management of budgets, financial planning, and forecasting for long-term sustainability
- Spearhead sustainability improvements and energy efficiency initiatives to reduce environmental impact
- Stay current with technological advancements to deliver better management information and performance metrics
- Manage internal and external stakeholders, providing clear communication on progress and impact
- Encourage innovation and disruptive thinking to optimise operational efficiencies
- Project manage refurbishments and improvement initiatives
- Build strong relationships with service providers, ensuring value-driven contract delivery
- Prepare and present reports on FM operations, sustainability, compliance, and performance
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Significant senior-level experience in facilities management, preferably within the Build to Rent or residential sector.
- Qualifications: Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or Business Administration, along with professional certifications such as IWFM (BIFM), MCIOB, MRICS, IFMA, or IOSH.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and deliver high performance.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of health and safety, fire safety regulations, and the ability to apply these in a residential context.
- Sustainability Focus: Experience in implementing sustainability initiatives and energy-efficient practices.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in the use of CAFM systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
